WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Maria Mazzella, of White Plains, died March 16. She was 85.
Mazzella was born Sept. 23, 1929, to Raffaela and Andrea, marrying Carmine Mazzella June 13, 1948 in Ponza, Italy.
She was predeceased by her four brothers, Francesco, Anthony, Donato and Attilio, and is survived by her husband, daughters Lynette Massaro and her husband Larry, Elisa Carbary and her husband Tim, grandchildren Vinny and his wife Anna, Jennifer and Patricia, great-grandchildren Isabella and Matthew, sister-in-law Marie Mazzella, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be at Hawthorne Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
A funeral Mass will be at the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Interment is at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Greenburgh.
