Louise Carosi Doyle, 54, Of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Louise Carosi Doyle, of White Plains, died Sunday, April 5, after a long battle with cancer. She was 54.

Doyle was born March 7, 1961, in the Bronx to E. Giulio and Lorraine (nee Micillo) Carosi.

She earned a master's degree in engineering from Manhattan College, becoming a licensed professional engineer and serving with the National Society of Professional Engineers and the New York Chapter of Professional Engineers.

Doyle also worked as a program administrator in Westchester County for over 29 years with the Health Department and Department of Environmental Facilities.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael G. Doyle. She is survived by her parents; her sons, David M. Doyle of Metairie, La., and Brian Joseph Doyle; her brother, Victor G. Carosi and his wife, Nella; and her sisters, Catherine Bologna and her husband, John, and Barbara Berardi and her husband, Matthew.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Gilda's Club Westchester are welcomed.

Visiting hours are Thursday, April 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the McMahon Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday,April 10, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church.

Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
