Laurane Magliari, 64, Formerly Of White Plains, Founder, Ethinkids, Inc.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Laurane Magliari of New York City, formerly of White Plains, died Dec. 19. She was 64.

Magliari was born Aug. 15, 1950, in White Plains, to Flora and John Magliari and was raised in White Plains and Thornwood. She graduated from Westlake High School in 1968. She holds a BA from Pace University and continued her education at Stanford University, Harvard and The Center for Creative Leadership. She led both human resources and marketing organizations at multinational companies that included JP Morgan Chase, Gartner and A&P. After retiring in 2004, she founded Ethinkids, Inc., a company dedicated to building character in children. Among her many community positions she served on the Board of My Sisters Place in White Plains.

Magliari is survived by her mother, Flora Magliari; sisters, Dawn Magliari and Janice Palladino; brothers, Paul, Robert and Ronald Magliari; stepson, Jason Fazzinga; a granddaughter; and eight nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father John Magliari; and brother, John.

Calling hours are Dec. 26 and 27 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Flora Magliari's home at 66 Randolph Road, White Plains. There will be a memorial service/party to celebrate Magliari's life at a later date.
