WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Kesha Karim Emery-Portee of White Plains died June 8 after a battle with breast cancer. She was 40.
Emery-Portee was born Sept. 25, 1971, to Cheryl Seward and the late Gary Emery. She attended White Plains schools and graduated from White Plains High School in 1991. Emery-Portee was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Portee III; a daughter, Lauren S. Reid; a son, Kyle M. Portee; her mother, Cheryl; a sister, Rana Brooks and a brother, Percy Johnson.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
