WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Katherine Izzo, of White Plains, died Tuesday, March 3. She was 101.
Izzo was born March 7, 1913, in White Plains to Alex and Fortunata Sarni. She worked as a seamstress until her retirement over 40 years ago.
She was predeceased by husband Carmine Izzo Sr.; sons Carmine Jr. and Domenic Izzo; and sister Jean Spinelli. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ursula Izzo; and her nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Friday, March 6, from 4-8 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial is set for Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church in White Plains, with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
