WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - John J. Glatthaar of White Plains died June 1. He was 61.

Glatthaar was born June 23, 1952, in the Bronx to Joseph B. and Kathleen O’Sullivan Glatthaar.  He was raised on Long Island until 1964, when his family moved to White Plains. He resided there ever since. He graduated from Iona Preparatory School and Fordham University (class of 1975), and worked as a self-employed title examiner in White Plains.

Glatthaar is survived by his parents of White Plains; brothers, James of White Plains, Joseph of Chapel Hill, N.C., Thomas of Purchase, and Michael of New York; sisters-in-law, Rose Sharon, Patricia and Jacqueline; nieces and nephew.

Calling hours are Tuesday, June 4 from  4 to 8 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 5 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 920 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Entombment to follow.
