YONKERS, N.Y. - John DeVito of Yonkers Aug. 31. He was 92.
DeVito was born June 26, 1921, to Angelo and Carolina (Ferrara) DeVito in Yonkers. He worked as a truck driver for Lake Building Materials and was a teamster in Local 456 in White Plains.
DeVito is survived by his children, Dorothy DeVito of Yonkers and Rick DeVito of Calif.; a granddaughter; nephew and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty (Corsaro); and his parents.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at The Westchester Funeral Home, Inc., Eastchester, with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, White Plains.
