James Fulgenzi, 55, Brother Of Mount Pleasant Town Supervisor

James Fulgenzi, 55, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and formerly of Valhalla died unexpectedly on March 13.

Fulgenzi was born on Aug. 11, 1961, in Hawthorne, where he grew up.

"Jimmy" as he was known to friends and family was an exceptionally talented, hard working craftsman who loved to design and work with his hands. 

He had a wonderful sense of humor and a loving heart for his family and friends. Jimmy was an avid cook who loved to garden. His favorite pastimes were playing pool and enjoying a sunny day at the ocean.

Mr. Fulgenzi is survived by his loving children, Alexandra and James; three brothers, Michael, Harold and Carl, who is town supervisor in Mount Pleasant; three sisters, Maureen, Anna Marie and Stacy; and cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and childhood friends that he held so dear.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 23 at Holy Rosary Church on Bradhurst Avenue in Hawthorne.
