WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Herbert Gluckman, a resident of White Plains, died Monday, May 23. He was 95.
Born March 3, 1921, in Brockton, Mass., he was the son of the late Harry and Reita Gluckman.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Susan) and Harriet (Fred) Mehlman; his grandchildren, Sarah (Michael), Julia (Joe), Ella, Allyson and Heather; a great-grandson, Asher; and his sister, Muriel Gaines.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rita.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 29, at 1 p.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, N.J.
Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the National Museum of Jewish Military History in Washington, D.C.
