Rogers was born Aug. 20, 1932, to Doris Helen Brown and George Willis Moore, in Whitehall, Texas.
Rogers is survived by her children, Cheryl Rogers of N.Y., Ida Rogers of Hawaii, Winnie Rogers-Jones of Conn., Sylvia Simmons of White Plains, Brenda McNeal of Texas, Gregory Rogers of N.Y., Patricia Rogers of Ga., Rhonda Brown of Pa., and Beverly Rogers of N.Y. She was predeceased by her parents; and son, Louis E. Rogers Jr.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 11 to 2 p.m. at the Thomas H. Slater Center, located at 2 Fisher Court, White Plains, NY 10601.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Georgia Rogers, to White Plains Hospital.
