Frank T. Modica, 81, Of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Frank T. Modica of White Plains, and formerly of New York City, died Sept. 25. He was 81.

Modica was born Dec.11, 1931, to Anthony and Antoinette Modica in Brooklyn. He was ordained a Marianist priest in 1965 and later left the order in 1970 and married Kathleen Maher in June, 1971. He later became executive director of Hamilton-Madison House in New York City.

Modica is survived by his wife, Kathleen of White Plains; son, Sean (Allegra) Modica of New York City. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Anthony, Joseph and Mario.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla. Interment will be private.
