Lasalandra was born Oct. 4, 1947, in Stamford, Conn., to Patrick Lasalandra and Mary (Gizzo) Lasalandra. He resided in Silver Lake and White Plains for the past 61 years and served in the U.S. Army and during the Vietnam War. He was a superintendent at Franklin Towers for over 30 years. He sang with Hearts Desire, the Mellokings and was also a DJ at local lounges and private parties. Lasalandra is survived by his wife, Linda;children, Jamie Lasalandra (Rosa), Nicole Lasalandra; three grandchildren; a great grandchild; and aunt, Addie Lasalandra.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 at the funeral home with Fr. Thomas Collins officiating. Interment at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains.
