WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Frances Casarella of White Plains died July 13. She was 91.
Born Aug. 12, 1920, in White Plains, she was the daughter of James and Amelia Sarni Cassanelli. A homemaker, she was married to Sal Casarella for 68 years. She enjoyed having friends and family over for holidays and Sunday dinners.
Casarella is survived by two daughters, Frani (Bob) Byron, of Wethersfield, Conn., and Brenda (Allie Magnotta), of West Harrison; a son, Steve (Jan) Casarella, of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Gloria Gangemi; a sister-in-law; a brother-in-law; six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sal; two sisters, Angel and Pam; and two brothers, Tony and Jim.
Visitation was held Sunday at McMahon, Lyon and Hartnett Funeral Home in White Plains. A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday morning at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison.
