Emanuella R. DeSalvo, 87, Of White Plains, Worked For Howard Johnson’s

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Emanuella R. DeSalvo, a lifelong White Plains resident, died Nov. 14. She was 87.

DeSalvo was born Sept. 24, 1927, to Dominico and Clara Luongo Borrelli. She was an employee at Howard Johnson’s for 31 years. She was a member of the W. Harrison Senior Center.

DeSalvo is survived by her children, Frank (Janice) DeSalvo of Virginia, Dominick DeSalvo of Armonk, Elaine (Bryan) Smith of Washingtonville, John A. DeSalvo Jr. of West Harrison, Cynthia DeSalvo (Loretta White) of Peekskill and Robert (Domenica) DeSalvo of New Jersey; eight  grandchildren; Jason, Daniel, Bryan, Jennifer, Maryanne, Emily, Brianna and Robert; three great grandchildren; and sister, June Colantuno. She was predeceased by her by her parents; husband, John A. DeSalvo; and sisters, Diane and Sadie.

Funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 17 at 9:30 a.m. with Fr. Ralph Berg officiating at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 92 South Lexington Ave., White Plains. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains.
