WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains resident Ellen G. Salko died Wednesday, Jan. 27. She was 79.
Salko was a baker, bookkeeper, author, teacher and homemaker.
She is survived by her three children, David Salko, Larry Salko and Judy Bergman; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Salko; and her grandchildren, Jake, Lauren, Jennifer, Ben, Michael and Matthew.
Salko was predeceased by her husband, Alan Salko, and her parents, Gerald and Irma Greenebaum.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel at Ferncliff Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29. Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services in White Plains assisted with arrangements.
