WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Donald Prout, of White Plains, died on Tuesday, June 23. He was 79.
Prout was born and raised in White Plains to Archibald and Helen (Knapp) Prout.
She worked as an electrician for Delta Electric through Local 501/3 until retiring in September 2005.
He is survived by his wife Jane; son, William and his wife Kathleen, daughter Karen Dinardo and her husband Chris; and three grandchildren, Taylor-Marie, William and Matthew Prout.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., South Broadway in White Plains.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at White Plains Rural Cemetery.
