Christine Barbara (Bedner) Gallagher, 77, Of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Christine Barbara (nee Bedner) Gallagher, of White Plains, died April 5. She was 77.

Gallagher was born April 24, 1937, in White Plains to Joseph and Christine Bedner, working at Finast Supermarket, later known as Stop & Shop, for 37 years.

She devoted her time to Our Lady of Sorrows Church's Religious Education on Sundays, and also was active in the church's Women's Guild.

Gallagher is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Lew and her husband Ronny of White Plains, and Dawn Vargas and her husband Gus of Las Vegas, granddaughter Veronica Christine Lew, Jerry & Evelyn Bridges, Kristin Brenna and various cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
