Charlotte A. Holzman, 71, White Plains Resident

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Charlotte A. Holzman, of White Plains, died Sunday, Jan. 10. She was 71.

Holzman was born in Bronxville to the late Edward and Charlotte Walsh and grew up in Mount Vernon. She worked as an administrative assistant for March of Dimes. On Feb. 6, 1965, she married the late Richard Holzman at St. Francis of Rome in the Bronx.

She was a mother, grandmother known as "Nana" and treasured her relationships with her brothers, their families and her cousins. She maintained lifelong friendships and loved celebrating holidays with families and friends. She was a devout Catholic and attended services at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

She is survived by two children Richard (JoAnne Wills) Holzman of Baltimore and Deborah (Steven) Beaudrot of Milford, Mass.; grandchildren Maggie and Joseph Holzman of Baltimore and Steven, Charlotte, Brendan and Kaitlyn Beaudrot of Milford; and her brother, Robert (Margaret) Walsh, and sister-in-law Patricia Walsh.

She was predeceased by her brothers Edward Walsh and Donald Walsh.

Visiting hours are Friday, Jan. 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the McMahon-Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 16, at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 920 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Entombment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.
