Carl Viggiano, 69, Of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Carl Viggiano of White Plains died Tuesday, June 25. He was 69.

Viggiano  was born March 2, 1944, in Mt. Vernon. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice from Iona College and served as a police officer for the Village of Mamaroneck for 22 years. He was in the air force reserves and called to duty from 1968 to 1970. He was involved in the Elks Club, the FOP and the Colombian Police Association.

Viggiano is survived by his wife, Arlene, (nee Graziano); children, Diane Flora (Jerry), Carl J. (Cindy); three grandchildren; and brother, Lucille Chiapetta.

Calling hours are Thursday, June 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road,.Mamaroneck. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28 at St. Vito’s R.C, Church. Committal will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Lustgarten Foundation in Bethpage, NY (for Pancreatic Cancer research) will be appreciated.
