Bernard J. Ciaramella, 91, Of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Bernard J. Ciaramella, a lifelong resident of White Plains, died peacefully with his family by his side March 13. He was 91.

Ciaramella was born to Alfonso and Antonetta Ciaramella March 15, 1923, attending White Plains schools, the seminary of The Stigmatine Fathers in Mass., Boston College and Iona College.

He worked as an accountant with the City of Mount Vernon, retiring in 1995.

Ciaramella was predeceased by his sister, Regina Cordelli, brothers Angelo and Michael, and by sisters Elizabeth Ferron, Lena Golla and Agnes Russello.

He is survived by wife Jane (nee Russo), daughter Joanne Ciaramella Sayer, son Bernard Paul of New York, N.Y., and grandson James Sayer.

Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Carmel Church in White Plains.
