WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Benedetta M. Volpe, a resident of White Plains, died Nov. 11. She was 93.
Volpe was born March 26, 1921, in Queens, N.Y., to Benvenuto and Rose (Suozzo) DeCicco. Volpe is survived by her children, Richard (Joanne) Volpe of Blauvelt, and Rosemarie (Steven) Volpe-Shapiro of Valhalla; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Cosmo; and son, Robert.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 14 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at Holy Name of Jesus, 2 Broadway in Valhalla, with Fr. Frank officiating. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Breast Cancer Association.
