WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Beatrice M. Saccone, died on Thursday, Jan. 15, at the age of 87.
She was born in St. Agnes Hospital on May 24, 1927, to Lotario and Teresa Travaglini Rincicotti. Saccone grew up in Silver Lake and has resided in White Plains since 1950.
On May 23, 1948, she married Gabriel (Buddy) Saccone. She worked for AT&T in the maintenance department from 1972 until her retirement in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia and her husband, Bruce J. Conkling and her sister, Murieleen (Carl) Didone.
She is also survived by her sisters-in-law; her brother-in-law; and her honorary grandson. She was also a beloved "Aunt Bea" to many.
Her husband died in 1994. She also was predeceased by her sister, Virginia M. Finateri.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, Jan. 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Mount Carmel Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
