WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Anna Raffa Trapasso of White Plains died Sept. 10. She was 92.
Trapasso was born Dec. 27, 1921, in Zungoli, Italy, and immigrated to the United States in 1928. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in White Plains. She volunteered at St. Agnes Hospital and sewed for Rosary Hill Home for 20 years.
Trapasso is survived by her husband, Augustine F. Trapasso; children, Lorraine Verge, Dr. Joseph Trapasso, Geralyn Della Cava, Paul Trapasso; and four grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne.
