WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Ann L. Conte, a White Plains resident, died May 25. She was 69.
Conte was born Sept. 23, 1943, in Yonkers, to Michael and Frances Giustino. She worked for AT&T in White Plains for several years and then went on to work as a social worker in various nursing homes in Westchester. She was a published writer, having her works printed in several magazines and the New York Times.
Conte is survived by her husband, Victor of White Plains; children, Julie Conte of White Plains and Andrew (Theresa) Conte of Florida; two grandchildren; sister, Michele (Ed) Brunner of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her sister, Marilyn Giustino; and brother, Leonard Justino.
Calling hours are Tuesday, May 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY 10605, (914) 949-7777. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla.
