Alice Moffatt, 75, Retired Teacher Of White Plains

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Alice P. Moffatt of White Plains died Jan. 4. She was 75.

Moffatt was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Bronx, N.Y., to Laurance and Delia McCarthy McArdle. She worked as a teacher in Elmsford schools for 34 years.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Moffatt, of White Plains; a son, Michael (Peter DeLisi) Moffatt Jr., of Southeast, N.Y.; three daughters, Maureen (Michael) O'Brien, of Cortlandt Manor, Joanne (Thomas) Flanagan, of Kensington, Md., and Laura (Sean) Frawley, of Yorktown; a sister, Eileen McArdle, of Ossining; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Rose Marie (Maureen) O'Boyle.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Church of the Transfiguration in Tarrytown. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
