WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Adolph M. DiGioia, of White Plains, died March 31. He was 95.
DiGioia was born Oct. 16, 1917, in the Bronx, to Mario and Margaret (Gentile) DiGioia. He served in the U.S. Army WWII as a staff sergeant. He was a salesman for Pabst Brewing Co. for over 30 years until his retirement in 1979.
DiGioia is survived his wife, Ines (Masi); son, Dr Richard DiGioia of Washington, DC; daughter, Andrea DiGioia Rothberg (Peter) of New Rochelle, N.Y.; two grandchildren; brother, William DiGioia; sisters, Elba Huddleston and Jean Stafford. He was predeceased by his parents.
A service for DiGioia will be held Thursday, April 4 at 11 a.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home , 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY 10605.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors in DiGioia's name.
