WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The woman who was pushed in front of a train in White Plains will reportedly walk again, according to a report on lohud.com.
Maya Leggat will walk after a recovery process that is expected to take months, according to news report. Leggat is resting at Westchester Medical Center after being pushed in front of the train on Sept. 25 in White Plains, according to the report.
According to multiple witness, Leggat was pushed to the tracks and struck by an empty (not in service) northbound train. Before the ambulance arrived, an MTA Police officer climbed down to the tracks to assist Leggat and calm her down.
