Woman Hit By Van Near Cross County Parkway

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A woman was struck by a van in Yonkers early Wednesday morning, according to a report by News 12.

The victim was hit on Central Avenue near the entrance ramp of the Cross County Parkway around midnight, News 12 reported. She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and is said to be in serious condition.

News 12 said it was told by a witness to the incident that the van’s driver was questioned by police, but not arrested.
