WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Berkeley College has appointed Wolfgang Hinck as the new dean of the Larry L. Luing School of Business.
“Dr. Hinck has a high level of energy and is deeply passionate about empowering students to achieve professional and personal goals,” said Marianne P. Vakalis, Berkeley College provost. “In addition, he has years of outstanding teaching and academic leadership experience that will serve him well in his new position.”
Hinck joined Berkeley College in 2010 as a member of the faculty in the Marketing Department. He was promoted to associate chair, marketing, later that year and to chair, marketing, in 2012.
He has served as interim dean of the Larry L. Luing School of Business, since the start of the summer 2013 quarter.
He holds a doctorate in international business and marketing and an master's in business administration from the University of Texas-Pan American, and has a bachelor's in business administrator in marketing from the Fachhochschule Nordostniedersachsen, Luneburg, Germany.
