WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains police say they're seeking a thief with a penchant for dental hygiene.
Officers say they were called to CVS Tuesday afternoon after a manager chased a man carrying $275 in stolen toothpaste out of the 24 Mamaroneck Ave. store.
The thief dropped two bags containing approximately 60 tubes of toothpaste at Martine Avenue, according to police, who said the manager recouped the merchandise.
The man disappeared into an alley on Court Street. Police say the CVS has video surveillance of the suspect entering and sprinting out of the store.
