White Plains Seeks Bids On Transportation Center Redevelopment Project

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The City of White Plains has released its Request for Proposals for the MultiModal Transportation Center Redevelopment Project.

The White Plains MultiModal Transportation Center Redevelopment Project will provide an enhanced MultiModal Transportation Center that serves all modes of travel and maximizes the economic development potential of the area.

The project will also create a welcoming and attractive new "destination" that will transform the MultiModal Project Area and provide a welcoming gateway that both compliments and reinforces the downtown core.

The design of the project will be based on sustainable design principles that, among other considerations, are protective of the environment; minimize negative environmental impacts; use low-impact materials and promote energy efficiency.

RFP submissions are due on Friday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m.
