WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Drivers have little to fear. Both White Plains police and county police report all roads are open and flood-free.
However, a few in White Plains are still without power after the weekends downpour. A small outage near the intersection of Topland Road and Mansfield Road has left up to 50 residents without electricity. Another batch of up to 50 households near Cambridge Road and Oxford Road do not have power, according to Consolidated Edisons outage map.
And it may not be over yet. According to the National Weather Service, White Plains residents can expect between a quarter and a half of inch of rain Monday. Thunderstorms are possible and the temperature is not expected to rise above 73 degrees.
Tonight, showers and a thunderstorm are likely to strike between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. as temperatures cool to as low as 62 degrees.
Tuesday will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms before 5 p.m. Temperatures may reach 76 degrees.
