White Plains Rabbi Pleads Guilty To Officer Impersination

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A 49-year-old White Plains rabbi pleaded guilty on Thursday, Feb. 27, to impersonating a police officer in Mamaroneck. It is the fourth guilty plea he has entered for impersonating police officers in Westchester County, according to

Alfredo Borodowski's latest guilty plea stems from an incident on June 19 on Mamaroneck Avenue when he accused a woman of driving too slowly in a school zone. He flashed a badge at the woman and claimed to be a police officer, reported.

Borodowski pleaded guilty to charges involving similar incidents n Greenburgh, White Plains and Yonkers. The rabbi, who suffers from bipolar disorder, will get no jail time or probation provided he stays out of trouble for a year, said.
