WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Amid all of the fun of the City of White Plains New Year’s Eve Spectacular, partygoers will first have to enter through a gated entry and navigate through a few closed streets to find parking, according to the Examiner News.

According to city officials, a number of street closing are necessary due to the size of the event. The city will begin closing streets in the area at 2 p.m. today. Streets will begin to re-open immediately after the event is finished around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 1, the story said.

To get in, the event will be accessible through gated entry only, the story said. Gates will be set up at the following locations: Main Street at Church Street, Renaissance Square at Williams Street, Court Street at Martine Avenue and Martine Avenue at Mamaroneck Avenue, added the Examiner News.
