White Plains Likely To OK Cover Charges For Restaurants, Bars

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A proposal was outlined at Monday night’s city council meeting in White Plains that will allow bars and restaurants to charge a cover when live music is on site, reports lohud.

Outlined by Commissioner of Building Damon Amadio, the businesses would have to provide a form to the Department of Public Safety 10 days before the event and the owner or an appointed designee would have to be on site during the event, according to the report.
