White Plains High Hall of Fame Calls for Nominees

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The White Plains High School Hall of Fame Steering Committee seeks nominations for notable graduates whose achievements should be honored next to those already in the hall such as former Chicago White Sox player Grover Jones and former Massachusetts State Supreme Court Judge Malcolm Graham.

Nominees should be alumni who have distinguished themselves in their careers or have had a significantly positive impact on others. The committee will consider posthumous awards.

The committee will hold an induction ceremony on Oct. 18, 2012 to welcome additional names to the 66 currently in the White Plains High School Hall of Fame.

Nomination forms are available online and at the library, Slater Center, YMCA, YWCA, and all White Plains public schools. Completed forms must be submitted by March 30, 2012.
