WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - More gas stations are dry Friday and those with supplies have growing lines.

The Mobil station on 1237 Mamaroneck Ave. had a line Friday morning stretching back to the Saxon Woods Pool parking lot at 1800 Mamaroneck Ave. Other gas stations in White Plains with resources had similar lines, many causing traffic to slow on main streets.

USA Gasoline on 378 Mamaroneck Ave. remained out of gas Friday morning, along with the Gulf station on 274 Hamilton Ave. and the Sunoco on 107 W. Post Road.

Federal, State and County officials have told the city that the gasoline supply chain remains intact and that deliveries will continue to be made. Many stations are currently low on fuel or have run out due to high demand. Deliveries are expected today and this weekend. Residents are being asked to be patient.
