White Plains Fire Closes South Lexington Avenue

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - A fire at the Winbrook Housing Complex early Friday afternoon led police to close down South Lexington Avenue while firefighters fought the blaze.

The street was reopened about 1 p.m.

Firefighters responded to the complex at 135 South Lexington Ave. shortly after noon and had the fire under control by 1 p.m..
