White Plains Council Calls Special Meeting About Ridgeway Property

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A special meeting of the White Plains Common Council will consoder the future of the former Ridgeway Country Club property.

The French American School of New York wants to build a private elementary and secondary school with an accessory nursery school there.

An Environmental Impact Statement was recently completed, and the Common Council will discuss the findings.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. in the Common Council Chamber of the Municipal Building, 255 Main St., White Plains.
