White Plains Cancels Programs In Lieu Of Winter Storm

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - All White Plains Youth Bureau after-school programs have been cancelled Friday due to the winter weather. 

Youth Bureau activities and programs scheduled for Saturday also have been cancelled.

The White Plains Performing Arts Center production of "The Color Purple" scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday has been postponed. All ticket holders may exchange their tickets to one of the following performances: Feb. 9 at 8 p.m.; Feb. 10 at 2 p.m.; Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.; Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. or Feb. 24 at 2 p.m.

Email your change request to tickets@wppac.com or call the box office at 914-328-1600. All requests will be honored.

Residents also can call the department's hotline at (914) 422-1302 to receive information regarding cancellations.
