WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - It's another busy week at White Plains' City Hall. Here's a look at what's on the agenda:
- The Common Council meets Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers. Councilman David Buchwald will be introducing legislation that strengthens the city's Code of Ethics. The city plans to hold a related public hearing on Sept. 6.
The city will consider issuing $1,851,330 in bonds to fund the purchase of dump trucks, plow trucks, sweepers, pay loaders, and refuse packers.
The council will also vote on Phase II of the Metropolitan Plaza project which includes a 130-room hotel and underground parking lot on Main Street.
The city will also consider turning certain city-owned properties into parkland, which will also be discussed in the Sept. 6 public hearing. Click here for the full agenda.
- The Zoning Board of Appeals convenes at 7 p.m. in the council chambers this Wednesday.
