Friday, June 9

Fish Tales Exhibition: noon - 5 p.m. ArtsWestchester's Fish Tales exhibit will be on view from June 8 through August 11. By using found and repurposed materials, more than 20 artists will transform the gallery into a visual and historic journey as they explore the Hudson River’s past and better understand the fragility of our ecosystem. World's Fastest Talking Female: 7:30 p.m. Fran Capo will be at the City Center Barnes & Noble. She is a comedienne, author, adventurer and five-time Guinness World Record Holder for being “The World’s Fastest Talking Female.” Barnes & Noble, 230 Main St.

Saturday, June 10

FASNY Open House: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. White Plains residents can learn about the proposed French-American School of New York campus and 85-acre Greens to Green Conservancy at the former golf course property that comprises a total of 130 acres. Clubhouse of the former Ridgeway Country Club at 400 Ridgeway Ave.

German School Tag Sale: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The German School's Parents Association will hold a tag sale. German School of New York, 50 Partridge Road.

Sunday, June 11

Bicycle Sundays: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A section of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters, and strollers. The 13.1 mile round-trip starts at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and goes south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Participants can enter and exit through many different parts of the route.

Cancer Survivors' Day: 11 a.m. White Plains Hospital will celebrate the courage and determination of the community’s survivors, and acknowledges the fight for the cure that patients and doctors push for every day. Doubletree Hotel, 455 S. Broadway.

Fundraiser for Family of Peter Becerra: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Help raise funds to support the family of the late Peter Becerra, a Stepinac High School graduate and career law enforcement officer most recently assigned as a senior investigator for Homeland Security and the FBI Joint Terrorist Task Force. There will be $25 open bar and food and a 50/50 raffle at Vintage Bar/ Restaurant, 171 Main St.
