Friday, June 29

John A. Coleman School Graduation: noon. The John A. Coleman School will hold its graduation ceremony. Families, friends and supporters will honor this year's 51 graduates. 317 North St., White Plains, on the Coleman School Campus.

Trove @ the Movies : 3 p.m. The White Plains Library children's room, known as the TROVE, continues its free Summer Film Festival with "Adventures of Tintin." The 107-minute film is rated PG (some violence, drunkenness and brief smoking) and is best for grades one through six. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Saturday, May 26

Summer Reading Kick-Off Party : 2:30-3 p.m. Join the White Plains Library as it kicks off its summer reading with a party and performances by the White Plains High School's Song Writer's Club. Pizza and refreshments will be served. This event is suited for teens. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Sunday, May 27

Bicycle Sundays : 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A section of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters and strollers. The 13.1-mile round-trip starts at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and goes south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Participants can enter and exit through many different parts of the route.

Summer Storywalk Opening : 1 p.m. Take a stroll at the library for a Storywalk, based on the book "Long Shot: Never Too Small to Dream Big" by Chris Paul, illustrated by Frank Morrison. The Storywalk is open to families with children in grades one to six. Participants must pick up the storywalk form in the Trove before proceeding on the walk. Children in grades one to three must be accompanied by an adult on the walk. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
