Friday, June 1

Westchester Glee Chorus Concert: 7 p.m. The newly-formed youth choir, Westchester Glee Chorus, performs its premier concert on Friday, June 1st at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of White Plains. The nine-member chorus will sing pieces by Coldplay, Kelly Clarkston, Sara Bareilles, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Natasha Bedingfield and many other popular artists and Broadway composers. Saturday, June 2

Audition for New TV Show: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. The White Plains Performing Arts Center will hold a casting call for a new musical, and Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina, will be there. Performers ages 15-21 are encouraged to audition for the musical - which is also the subject of a Hollywood documentary series following a Broadway-bound musical from casting to opening night, and will spotlight how to be a good stage mom. Dina, among others, will mentor the parents of the young performers selected. "Ex-The-Text" PSA Premiere: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. The White Plains Public Library will premiere a Public Service Announcement created by teens about the dangers of distracted driving. They have been instructed by Travis Williamson of Media Monsters Inc., on how to write, act, film, produce and edit this video over the past 6 weeks as part of The Allstate Readiness Series, a grant from the Allstate Foundation. Free Doggy Ice Cream, Adoption Fest: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Best Friends Pet Care will host an anniversary celebration on June 2 and 3, with free doggy ice cream and cookies, an adoption fest and pet photography. Guests also will have the chance to win 20 special anniversary prizes, including a trip for four to Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida. Animal rescue groups will be on site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with adoptable pets looking for new homes. White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The 50th Annual White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival will be held June 2 and June 3. For more information, visit their website. Tibbits Park, 1 North Broadway.

Sunday, June 3

Bicycle Sundays: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A section of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters, and strollers. The 13.1 mile round-trip starts at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and goes south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. Participants can enter and exit through many different parts of the route.

Car Show: Noon. Antiques, classics, hot rods and motorcycles will be judged in various classes, including Best of Show (3 p.m.). Registration for vehicles to take part in the Car Show is $10. Admission for spectators is $5; children under 12 are admitted free. The show is hosted by the Westchester Antique Car Club, in coordination with the Rotary Club and City of White Plains. White Plains High School, 550 North Street, enter at Bryant Avenue (past the North Street corner).
