Friday

Hudson River Potters Show and Sale: 1-5 p.m. Local artists will display unique, handmade, functional and decorative objects Friday through Sunday. Bring your mother to view and select a handmade gift. Some of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of the White Plains Library. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Parenting Group for Moms: 1-2:30 p.m. Mothers of elementary school children will discuss various topics. There will be refreshments and prizes, and moms will receive a certificate of participation. Baseball Card Show: 2-8 p.m. The "Spring Fever Show" will feature 300 tables of memorabilia in the Westchester County Center Friday and Saturday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Glen D. Loucks Memorial Track and Field Games: 3-7 p.m. Students from more than 200 schools in the United States and Canada will compete in the 45th annual high school track and field meet. Friday's events begin at 3 p.m. White Plains High School

SAT Practice Test with Kaplan: 1-5 p.m. A free SAT practice test will be administered by Kaplan at the White Plains Library, on 100 Martine Ave. Sign up on the Kaplan website.

Video Production Classes for Teens: 2-4 p.m. The library willl have its fifth session of a video production class to create a public service announcement to be aired on television. Students can write the script, select the actors, shoot and edit the video, integrate music and watch the final cut at a red carpet graduation ceremony. Pizza and Poetry for Teens: 2-5 p.m. Learn poetry slam writing and performing skills with local slammaster Eric ZORK Alan. Pizza will be served after the program. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Family Storytime - "Happy Mother's Day": 2-2:30 p.m. Celebrate Mother's Day with an interactive storytime, including crafts and snack. The program is best for ages 3 and older. Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis at 1:30 p.m.
