Parenting Group for Moms : 1-2:30 p.m. Mothers of elementary school children will discuss various topics. There will be refreshments and prizes, and moms will receive a certificate of participation. Stepinac High School's Annual Spring Musical : 7:30 p.m. Stepinac High School's performance of "Phantom of the Opera" opens Friday. Performances follow on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., May 4-5 at 7:30 p.m. and May 6 at 2 p.m. Call 914-946-4800 ext. 200 for tickets, which are $18 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under and senior citizens.

Bicycle Helmet Day : 10 a.m. - noon. Teach your child to ride a bike in an easy, hands-free, crash-free and low-stress way. The City of White Plains and the Jill E. Solomon Foundation team up to get your child rolling on two wheels. Recreation staff and trained volunteers will present this free class. Please call 422-1336 to register. Delfino Park, 30 Lake St.

Video Production Classes for Teens : 2-4 p.m. The library willl have its third session of a video production class that will create a public service announcement to be aired on television. Students can write the script, select the actors, shoot and edit the video, integrate music and watch the final cut at a red carpet graduation ceremony. Adult Night of Rock : 7:30 p.m. This sixth annual fundraiser, hosted by 107.1 The Peak's Jimmy Fink, will feature raffles and a silent auction to benefit the Scarsdale Teen Center. Live music will begin at 7:30 p.m. All bands have ties to Scarsdale: The DB6; We Stole The Kids and Skyfactor . Tickets are $45 in advance $55 at the door. Buy tickets online or call 914-722-8358. Bicycle Sundays : 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Bicycle Sundays, a section of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters, and strollers. The 13.1 mile round-trip starts at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and goes south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. There are 10 more bicycle Sundays through September, including May 13 and 20, June 3, 10, 17 and 24 and Sept. 9, 16, 23 and 30.

Cherry Blossom Festival : Noon - 5 p.m. Celebrate the beginning of spring under the newest cherry trees in White Plains at a festival of Japanese culture and tradition.
