School Budget Presentation to WPNCA : 7:30 p.m. Superintendent of Schools Christopher Clouet will present the proposed school budget adopted by the board April 16. The meeting is open to the public. White Plains Farmers Market : 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. The market on Court Street, between Martine Avenue and Main Street, will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays through Nov. 21. Court Street.

Salute to Seniors : 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Department of Senior Programs and Services of Westchester County Parks, Public Works and Transportation and the Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services will host the 44th annual Salute to Seniors, a Business and Services Expo featuring booths representing commercial businesses such as financial service companies, nonprofit organizations and agencies, hospitals and other health-care providers and assisted-living facilities. Poetry Slam and Open Mic : 6:30 p.m. The White Plains Library's Open Mic, SLAM competition continues with guest poet Roger Bonair-Agard, a two-time National Poetry Slam Champion and co-founder of The louderARTS Project. White Plains Historical Society Annual Dinner : 6 p.m. The annual dinner meeting will honor Dennis J. Power, director of program development in the Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities, as citizen extraordinaire. Author Joseph Cummins will also speak about his book, “ Anything for a Vote: Dirty Tricks, Cheap Shots and October Surprises .” The Woman’s Club of White Plains, at the C.V.
