WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- As a sign of mourning and respect for the victims and their families of the deadly act of terrorism in Orlando, the flags at all Westchester County government buildings are being flown at half-staff.
“Orlando’s loss is America’s loss,” said Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino. “This terror targeted the LGBT community, but hate is an attack on all of us. Westchester grieves the loss and honors the memory of the 49 Americans taken from us so horrifically and prays the injured will be healed.”
