Westchester On Target For Affordable Housing Benchmark

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Westchester County officials say they are on track to meet a 2009 settlement with the federal government that required the county to have 600 affordable housing units by the end of this year, according to lohud.com.

County officials said they are set to vote next month on funding for projects in such areas as Harrison, Lewisboro and Bedford Hills, which will put them over the total needed for the year under the agreement, said lohud.com.
