Westchester Gets Security Grant For Bee-Line Buses

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – As public safety officials remind residents after the Boston Marathon bombing that if they “see something say something,” Westchester County received a security grant to bring the “See Something Say Something” program to the Bee-Line buses.

County Executive Robert Astorino will display the multifaceted initiative, which includes a television spot, bus shelter ads and more, on Thursday morning. It was paid for with a Homeland Security grant obtained by the county’s Department of Public Works and Transportation.

The grant was awarded before the bombing at the Boston Marathon on Monday, according to the statement.
